== History ==

Bitonic first started as iDealCoin in March, 2012, officially registering as a business with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce in May 2012. iDealCoin was renamed to Bitonic, an anagram to Bitcoin, in June 2012 .

BL3P has been in development since 2013 and available to Dutch users since April 4th, 2016, and available to all European countries since May 18th, 2017.
