Hyper distribution

The term Hyper distribution or Hyperdistribution is used to describe the distribution of content (Particularly Video) over the internet using technologies such as BitTorrent.

A speech given by Mark Pesce of "Piracy Is Good?", delivered on May 6, 2005 at the Australian Film Television and Radio School in Sydney describes what Hyper distribution is.

There is at least one alternative to BitTorrent that is a commercial applications, for example Push2Peers which claims to stream the data in order. [1]
