- A focus on Bitcoin or crypto-currency (merely accepting Bitcoin donations is not enough)
- Being a non-profit
- The organization needs to be either a registered non-profit or in the process of active registration.

The association is not only open to worldwide active Bitcoin country organizations, but also to all Bitcoin interested persons.
