X11 EVO is an algorithm which comes as a solution to the already available ASIC miners for the standard X11 algorithm. It is important that X11 EVO algorithm can be mined by CPU and GPU only today. The first cryptocurrency which had support of X11Evo was Revolvercoin (XRE). The hashrate you can get from X11 EVO algorithm is a few times lower than what the same AMD GPU could be capable of providing with the regular X11. About 2-3 MHS can be expected at the moment depending on the user's GPU.

X11 Evo Miners

Since the version 1.8-dev ccMiner added support for the X11 EVO algorithm. The Windows binary is built from the Linux branch and is a 32-bit one compiled with CUDA 6.5 and with support for Compute 2.0 or newer Nvidia GPUs.

The tests of X11 EVO has shown pretty good performance from the ccMiner with X11 Evo support as compared to the sgminer fork for the X11 Evo algorithm supplied by the Revolvercoin (XRE) team. As a result, mining farms which work on Nvidia have a noticeable advantage. While users can get from 2 to 3 MHS on a AMD Radeon 280X or 290X using the sgminer, with this release of ccMiner they can expect to see over 7 MHS on NVIDIA GTX 970 or over 10 MHS on NVIDIA GTX 980 Ti.
